Steve Kurtz Steve has been involved in sales and marketing for over thirty years. He began his career as a territory manager for a major manufacturer in the New Orleans area. Years of hard work resulted in his being offered a corporate position. Steve, however, turned down the position deciding to remain in the New Orleans area.
In the late seventies, Steve moved over to the retail side of the business, as sales manager for a local contractor. He quickly discovered his passion for retail sales. Steve decided to buy the company he was working for. He ensured his company would focus on value to grow profits instead of price.
Steve has held leadership positions throughout his career, serving on board of directors of the Heat Pump Association and as president of the Air Conditioning Association of Louisiana. His main goal was local and state contractor’s sales and profit pictures. Steve accomplished this by chairing seminars and training sessions on profit and loss, sales techniques, and good business practices.
After selling his company to a long time friend, Steve helped grow the new business into a multi-million dollar organization in just a few years. Steve knew the company had to increase their sales by increasing the average selling price, not the number sold. With his guidance, the company increased revenue by 20% in the less than nine months without any additional field personnel.
As a trainer, Steve has discovered people all across the country tend to face the same problems. He knows the No Pressure Selling© Process can help everyone achieve goals otherwise unattainable using the OLD methods of pressure closing.
